We’re Andrea and Lizzie - a mother & daughter who believe some of life’s best conversations happen while your hands are busy creating.
Our studio in Tauranga’s Historic Village is a place to slow down, enjoy good coffee and leave with something you’ve made yourself.

From pressed flowers to earthy pigments, many of our projects celebrate texture, seasonality and the quiet beauty found in nature.
WHY WE CREATED THE PAINTED TABLE
Life is busy.
Between work, family and everything else, it's easy to forget how good it feels to simply sit down and make something with your hands.
We created The Painted Table because we wanted to build the kind of place we'd love to spend an afternoon ourselves.
A third place, to become lost in a project. Where conversations happen naturally. Where it's perfectly okay to slow down.
We hope it becomes somewhere you'll want to return to again and again.
